SHIBUI_b was born out of a passion for beautiful things by its founder, Myriam.

At the end of 2017, after 10 years living in Bangkok, she decided to start sharing objects that had become a substantial part of her daily routine in the capital of Thailand.

Many trips to neighbouring countries and up-country to Thai villages, meeting and talking with local artisans, aroused her desire to bring beautiful, traditional and practical Asian objects to the rest of the world.

After spending part of the summer of 2019 in Spain, she returned to Thailand aware of the amount of plastic we use every day without being aware of how it affects our ecosystem and decided to create and offer products for sustainable day to day.

In SHIBUI_b you will find objects created by authentic artists and carefully selected by Myriam, along with ones designed by herself, using local materials, such as wood, bamboo, water hyacinth and so on.

Almost everything you will find in the store is handmade with great attention-to-detail and quality.

SHIBUI_b nace gracias a la pasión por las cosas bonitas de su fundadora, Myriam.
Tras 10 años viviendo en Bangkok, a finales de 2017 decide lanzarse a compartir los
objetos que ha convertido en parte de su rutina en la capital de Tailandia.

Muchos viajes a países vecinos y aldeas tailandesas, charlas motivadoras e interminables, aprendizaje con artesanos locales le despertó las ganas de hacer llegar objetos asiáticos bonitos, tradicionales y prácticos al resto del mundo.

Después de pasar parte del verano de 2019 en España, regresó a Tailandia consciente de la cantidad de plástico que utilizamos cada día sin ser conscientes de cómo afecta a nuestro ecosistema y decidió crear y ofrecer productos para un día a día más sostenible.

En SHIBUI_b encontrarás objetos creados por artesanos locales y eligidos cuidadosamente o diseñados por ella misma utilizando materiales autóctonos como “mun-pla” (madera), bambú, jacinto de agua, etc.
La mayoría de lo que encontrarás aquí está hecho a mano con mucha delicadeza y pasión.
